TEYAPI4Peace – Teso Youth Agricultural Production Initiative for Peace
Introduction;
Teso Youth Agricultural Production Initiative for Peace (TEYAPI4Peace) has been in existence as a development organization for the last 3 years and eight months, it was established in December 2019 and obtained it first formal registration with the sub county and district community development offices as a CBO in December 2020. It is now fully incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under registration number 80020003609346 and fully registered as a charitable service non- governmental organization (NGO) by the NGO bureau.
The organization has a volunteer staff of 6 people, with a vast technical and managerial experience in the implementation of agricultural, OVC education
and Skilling projects. Other Technical staff like the livestock Officer and Agricultural officer with a minimum of diplomas have been recruited. The
volunteer staff has had tailored training on management of donor funded projects. The financial systems are well developed and have supported the
institutional financial controls that have enhanced the successful implementation of the Youth Agricultural Passion Fruit and OVC School fees
scholarship projects.
TEYAPI4Peace is a community based NGO that supports rural community’s access education and improved farm technologies to their skills and household farm production through access to education and agricultural inputs & skills. As
a newly established organization we have been able to implement a few projects all geared towards empowering the rural farmers, and orphaned and
vulnerable children school fees project in Gweri Sub County in Soroti District.
TEYAPI4Peace seeks to offer practical community based development solutions to support Teso and Karamoja Communities through the implementation of a range of projects.
