The Leprosy Mission England and Wales is an International Christian Development supporting people affected by leprosy in some of the poorest parts of Asia and Africa. It aims to bring healing and offer holistic solutions to people and communities where leprosy still exists. Every two minutes someone is still diagnosed with leprosy which can lead to isolation and rejection from families and communities, despite being entirely curable.
Through the generous support of thousands of individuals, churches, groups and trusts, the scope of our work is broad and far-reaching. Alongside healthcare we also provide rehabilitation, education, job training, small business opportunities, housing, water and sanitation and training for sustainable farming.
