Teeg Wende works for a NGO in partnership with Tree-Aid as Head of Program.

His roles and responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate all the technical actions of the NGO interventions in the field of food security and local responses to the effects of climate change
  • Propose news strategies to take into account the needs of rural development
  • Advocate with any partners to take into account the environmental and food topics of beneficiaries
  • Propose all facilitation, management and sustainability initiatives for the NGO
  • Verify and approve technical and financial management
  • Coordinate the development of annual actions plans and the production of periodic project

 

Teeg Wende says knowledge is the first factor of development and he thinks that he already puts into practice what he has learned on a day to day basis. The course will enable his organization and its members to improve themselves and move forward. He says ‘Change will begin with us, and with our way of doing things now, others can learn from us’
