Following his MSc in post-harvest technologies, Srikanth joined TATA-AIG Life Assurance Company who partners with Non-Government Organisations that work with the poor. He was involved in building the capabilities of small and marginal farmer groups, farm laborers and providing cover under micro-insurance schemes.
Srikanth has recently joined the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics as a scientist in the field of digital agriculture, particularly focusing on the theme ‘Innovation Systems for the Drylands’.
Srikanth followed his Marshal Papworth MSc at Writtle University College with a PhD in post-harvest technologies from Massey University, New Zealand.
