When Hamisi left Cranfield, he obtained a job with the Food and Agriculture Organisation for UN and has since been working as a community-based Education Officer in areas of Integrated Pest Management and Food Security with FAO-Kenya. His work involves training farmers; provision of extension services; assisting farmer groups on resource mobilisation and project design. He confirms that his course has helped him to adapt his technical and new theoretical knowledge to the realities of field work and become more familiar with farmers and their needs.
