Danisa is married and has two children. He attended Gwebi Agricultural College where he obtained a higher national Diploma in Horticultural science 2000-2001, University of South Africa – 2015 Qualification B Tec Horticulture.

Danisa currently works for the Ministry of Higher Education at Harare Polytechnic in Zimbabwe, as a Horticulture Lecturer. His roles and responsibilities are:

  • Plan and implement all learning activities
  • Review horticultural curriculum for horticultural extension officers, Research on new technologies
  • keep student records and supervise all learning activities
  • Visit students on industrial attachments for assessment
  • Invigilate all learning (coursework and final exams)

Danisa thinks that knowledge and skill transfer is key in development, so will on returning home facilitate training of smallholder farmers through workshops, short learning programmes and exhibits. His extension officers will be enabled through a review of the curriculum.
