Bakhita’s current job is a lead farmer in Mpilisi EPA. She has been involved in farming for nine years in various crops like Maize, pigeon pea and horticultural crops and small stock livestock. As a lead farmer she has been assisting fellow farmers with good agriculture practices on pigeon pea production in her area with assistance from agriculture extension workers. She has also been involved in soil and water conservation, agribusiness and food and nutrition.
